Brief, Objectives & Challenges

Difficult CMS, yesterday’s UI/UX.

One of Malaysia’s premier shopping malls, with over 550 outlets for shoppers from all walks of life, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur was on a fixed-template website and CMS that was too difficult to use. They struggled and had to depend on their web developer for simple website updates. Being one of the top malls in Malaysia that drives the largest tourist footfall, they had to be current and always on their game, which was slowed down due to this tedious process.

The Big Idea

Understanding the challenges, we developed a site that’s clean, visually compelling, and easy to navigate. As Pavilion KL is visited by different customers from all over the globe, we implemented a visitor-friendly UI with greetings, time, and languages that adapted to its visitors time and location.

The Content Management System (CMS) was also created from scratch to cater to the client’s internal team, allowing them to easily manage their website content.
