We created a Facebook game wherein the objective of play is to serve customers their food orders off a conveyor belt and a salad and juice bar. Participants score points by serving quickly and accurately; points are lost when unhappy customers leave because they've waited too long. Submission of proof of purchase give participants bonus power-ups like increasing productivity and decreasing customer stress levels.
The game pokes fun at the concept of working like a machine; through the application, participants "feel the heat" of having to work in a constant hurry lest they lose "paying" customers and lose the game!
